Shadow Lake Elementary School, administered by the Tahoma School District, is one of the district s smallest elementary school that serves more than 540 students in kindergarten through grade five. Its students can participate in choir, band and a range of zero-hour activities, including scrap booking, rollerblading and quilting. The school has a parent-teacher association that organizes various fundraising activities. The Tahoma School District serves more than 7,000 students in kindergarten through grade 12. It operates several high, alternative high, middle, elementary, junior high and parent-partnered schools. The school district is approved by the Northwest Association of Accredited Schools. Shadow Lake Elementary School is located in Maple Valley, Wash.
