My garage spring door was broken. I called this company to fix it. My brother fixed it by the time I got home. He did not tell me that he is going to fix it any way. I did not have enough time to call to cancel the appointment before the service guy showed up at my front door. He asked for 55 dollar trip charge after I explained everything to him. There are many garage door services offer free trip charge. They do the same job and tune up the whole door at the price 185 dollars. About the life time guarantee, I got that from Wick's furniture and my gutter company. Both of them are out of business right now. I would not call this company again.
It is not too often that people take the time to praise good service and ethics of a company, however I thought that I would do so.I can not remember the last time that I was given a bid on something, car repair etc, where the cost was less than expected.I was given an estimate over the phone for a torsion conversion kit, which since I am not in the garage repair business, I had not idea what it was. When you service man arrived at out home as scheduled, he fixed our door and gave a bill for $169.00. The quote over the phone was $250, to say the lease I was very surprised. It is nice to see a company with the recession and all with such integrety.I sell real estate, and have a few rental properties. I will always use and refer your companyThanks,
I called on Saturday, January 2, 2010 about 4:30 p.m. The Twin Cities were buried in snow and ice. The temperature was below zero. The telephone was answered immediately, the exact nature of my problem was diagnosed. "Someone else" had told me I needed a more powerful garage door opener. The gentleman on the phone told me that was not the case! The appointment time was promptly met, one of the parts needed was not brought to my home. While the broken spring was being replaced, the sprocket also needed was brought to my home! This is an honest, customer-service based company. More companies should strive to be like AM-PM Garage Door Service and Repair.
