Manteno Community Unit School District 5 consists of four schools and enrolls over 2,200 students in prekindergarten through grade 12. It offers a range of academic subjects, including career and technology education, English, foreign languages, fine arts, library sciences, mathematics, physical education, science and social studies. The school provides various athletic activities, such as baseball, basketball, golf, football, soccer, track, wrestling, softball, cheerleading and volleyball. It offers career counseling, guidance and scholarship assistance. The district s parent-teacher organization is a group of parent volunteers and teachers who come together to help raise funds and organize educational activities.
