I have been going to this clinic with my dogs for 7 years. I would not go anywhere else. I know they want my pets and other peoples pets to be safe so I am glad that all the pets need to be currant on there vaccinations and flea and tick prevent. I would hate to have my dogs there and they got some disease because some other person did not have their pet vaccinated or my pet get fleas because someone else did not have flea prevention on their pet. The staff at Country Club Pet hospital are Knowledgeable and care about my pets. So Thank you everyone at Country Club pet hospital for caring and keeping my pets safe.

I could not disagree with the ...

I could not disagree with the other reviewers more. I happened upon this clinic when I moved into town and needed care for my 2 elderly shelties. Dr. Beckendorf and Dr. Neece were nothing but professional, caring and kind to my girls. They went to great lengths to do whatever was necessary for my dogs and save me needless spending on procedures and products that may not be helpful. The office staff has always been extremely courteous and helpful. They squeezed me in at any time I nedded, when it was necessary to bring my dogs in. And, in the end, they were very compassionate and understanding when I lost each one. If I still had pets, I would absolutely use them as my vet!

Stay away

I would NEVER take my pets there again. They are not interested in the pets- only the pet owners pocketbook. After a $250 bill, my dog still was not better. I wanted to seek other treatment and order medication online, because it is cheaper and I just dropped half my weekly take home pay with no results. They denied my RX request over some baloney about heartworm testing. But, if I came back and dropped about another $150, MAYBE they would ok the prescription. So disgusting. I was just there, why do I have to pay another exam fee-which is another joke as they took my dog in the back and all I heard was the vet tech yelling at my dog. Some exam. I am sure they will have some reply that I am not a responsible pet owner for not testing my dog THIS MINUTE for heartworm. Give me a break. How about give the dog some relief for the current problem, then I will address the heartworm test. Thank God I found another caring, less money driven vet (THE ANIMAL DOCTOR). Not pet friendly at all in my opinion.MONEY MONEY MONEY

Office Manager Rude

I had previously used Country Club vet years ago and had a great experience. When we adopted a dog this year, I decided to go back. Mistake. The form you fill out to have your pet seen requires a driver's license number and your SOCIAL SECURITY number. If they were filing insurance or filing for my taxes, they might need my SS #, but for a dog? Please. The office manager claimed that they required a SS # in case they had to file a lawsuit for non-payment (SS# are NOT required to file a lawsuit) or in case they needed to do a credit check (I was not applying for credit, and I would have to give permission for a credit check). When I refused to give my SS # because of concerns about identity theft, I was rudely told to leave and that they would not see my dog. If you don't mind giving your SS # to strangers for no particular reason, then go ahead and go here. If you do mind, stay away.

Ms. Putman is not telling the whole story. The incident was reviewed on video and clearly reveals that Ms. Putman was verbally abusive to my staff and that my staff was nothing but polite and professional with her. She also left out the part in her review where she purposely gave us a fake SSN on her Client Information Form. This is when she was politely told that we could not assist her with her pets. The collection of information, including social security numbers, is standard for most any business, and assists the business in protecting itself from people who make a habit of not paying their bills. State law does not allow a veterinarian to withhold an animal from its owner due to non-payment, so you need all the information you can gather to that end. Our form clearly states that confidential information will be protected as required by law and our standard business practices. We are a long-established business with whom Ms. Putman admits she has done business with in the past, so it was not a "stranger" that was requesting her SSN.

No heartworm prevention, no service, no matter how old!!

My dog, Lucy, is 17 years old and the Vet hospital will not clip her nails because I took her off of heartworm prevention medication that I had previously gotten from them. She is very old and her system is compromised and I think heartworm medication is toxic to her. Her nails are in need of being trimmed and she can barely walk, but this office refused to help, stating that that is the doctor's way of making sure all dogs are on heartworm prevention. Again, she is 17 years old!! I would rate this type of service as 0 but there is no such rating. She will be going to another doctor that is more caring.

jhendrix is not being fully truthful. She has chosen not to provide a proven safe medication that will prevent her dog from contracting a disease that will surely kill a 17 year old patient. I have too many other dogs under my care that need to be protected from disease to allow a non protected dog into the areas of the hospital whereby other dogs may be exposed to threatening conditions like heartworm infestations. We do not deny medical services to any patient, only elective procedures when clients choose not to protect their pets from preventable disease. And I do not require clients to purchase heartworm prevention from my hospital - only that they show that the animals are protected, so I can assure my clientele that I am doing my best to keep their pets healthy. I am sorry that jhendrix has chosen not to protect her pet and to do her best to keep her 17 year old pet as protected from disease as possible.
