I am.writing with regard to the recent emergency services being received for the cats rescued from yesterdays unfortunate fire at Stop on 1152 Lexington Avenue. Vet bills must be adding up. My request is simple. Vets need to volunteer their time in situations like this and not charge for their time . To give back to these helpless animals your God given talent you will be blessed for that.These cats had lived a life of either abuse or abandonment before they were rescued by STOP. Compassion empathy would be appreciated. Thank you. Linda Somers ( a concerned citizen)
