A local in Manning told me to try Sugar Hill. I was pleasantly surprised how good their pulled pork was. It was cooked to perfection. Moist, tender, and juicy. Some places have somewhat dry pulled pork, but not at Sugar Hill. The red pepper/vinegar sauce at Sugar Hill is excellent also. It's a little sweeter than the local Manning competition, and not quite as spicy. I actually like this because it does not overpower the juicy, smoky taste of the meat. The Hash and rice were excellent as well. Not even a faint hint of that livery taste that you get when you get more than 10% liver in the hash. It was nice and thick and not runny like some places. This is one of perhaps 3 or 4 places I know of that I would consider 100-mile BBQ in SC. The prices are also reasonable compared to some other local places. I would definitely recommend Sugar Hill BBQ to anyone.

I was visiting family and wanted some old time BarBQ. Some friends told me about this place which was the best in town. No less I tried the place. Wellllllllllllllllllll, I was blown out of the water. The BBQ was EXCELLENT. This was true down home hospitality and mouth watering fixens & great service. Try it, you want be disappointed.
