About Commonwealth Code Inspection Service, Inc. Commonwealth Code Inspection Service, Inc. was originally incorporated in Pennsylvania under the name Commonwealth Electrical Inspection Service in September of 1974. The Corporation was formed in order to provide Government, Business and Private entities with needed Third Party Electrical Inspections. As time went on, the need for broader Code Enforcement Services was realized and the company grew into Commonwealth Code Inspection Service, Inc. (incorporated in December of 1987). The company currently provides services in all phases of Building, Electrical, Plumbing, Mechanical, Elevator, Swimming Pools and Fire Safety Code inspection and enforcement. Municipalities that the company currently service are located in Lancaster, Lebanon, York, Chester, Dauphin, Perry, Juniata, Mifflin, Huntingdon, Cumberland, Franklin, Fulton, Bedford, Somerset, Blair, Cambria, and Lycoming.
