Dr. Michael Gitman is the Associate Chair for Academic Affairs and Quality for the North Shore-LIJ Department of Medicine and is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Hofstra North Shore-LIJ School of Medicine. Dr. Gitman's academic interests include medical education, quality improvement, and medication safety. His clinical interests are in electrolyte disorders, acid base abnormalities, and acute kidney injury.
