Adventures in Learning is an educational enrichment program dedicated to improving the lives of children through after-school care and educational instruction. The program offers opportunities to children to learn and develop their homework skill and get cultural exposure through a variety of events. It also operates computer education classes, as well as maintains book and chess clubs. Adventures in Learning conducts arts and crafts classes that offer opportunities for students to participate in various painting, drawing and mixed media projects. Its KidzMath program provides instruction through math games and stories, as well as assists students in mathematics learning and social development. In addition, the school operates an after-school literacy program that aims at developing literacy and character in children. Adventures in Learning is located in Manhasset, N.Y.
