When my Son's jeep had its transmission linkage bushing break, the dealers and most parts stores did not have a replacement part listed even though there were multiple YouTube videos showing easy replacement of the $6 plastic bushing. They only listed the $160 linkage assembly requiring the same amount in labor. Cliff was appalled as much as I was and called around until he located an after market kit locally with the bushing to get us back on the road without extended wait.
