General Info

Each patient is unique and has a very personal story. I always begin my care for patients by taking the time to really understand who they are. I want to learn their particular history and current situation, their motivations, their expectations and their goals. By having these conversations, we can create a treatment plan that takes into consideration the particularities of their situation. Establishing a human bond with my patients and understanding who they are has a tremendous therapeutic effect that may be less measurable by conventional standards but is nevertheless felt in the healing process. Over the years, I have learned tremendously from my patients. I can sum up my philosophy of care by quoting Hippocrates: "Heal sometimes, treat often, comfort always." Neurology at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center The Department of Neurology aims to provide you with compassionate and expert neurological care. We work collaboratively within our specialties and across disciplines in order to provide an evidence-based practice approach. Whether your neurological issues are cognitive/behavioral, epilepsy, headache, movement, multiple sclerosis, neuromuscular, stroke/cerebrovascular or general, we will work with you and your family to provide the best possible medical outcomes.
