Over all, a good service. They do tend to forget that they are the service provider and not the service receiver. We've been using Home Instead from Manchester for a while now and after more than a year, my Mom still has to ask every day to get a glass of orange juice. They love to tell her their problems but forget to ask if my Mom needs anything, She sat there one day for 45 minuets waiting to get some milk on her cereal. I think they forget that they are an employee and not a best friend. Maybe it's human nature, I don't know. Regardless, it makes for undue stress on an elderly woman. Lord knows, when your 90, you don't need any additional stress. We like the service but it's hard to make any constructive criticism with out hurting feelings. Hence this review. If they were to do a little training on basic care giver skills, I think things would be much better.
