Kline Engineering & Consulting (KEC) was founded by Don Kline in 2006 to deliver creative structural designs and rehabilitation for a wide variety of structures. KEC was founded to provide specialized structural engineering and consulting for all aspects of post-tensioned concrete construction, whether for new designs or for the evaluation and rehabilitation of an existing structure. Post-tensioning technology has the ability to make concrete perform more efficiently and therefore produces light, economical, and durable structures. Whether for new construction or for structural evaluation and rehabilitation of existing structures, KEC offers full structural engineering consulting services. KEC has experience with a wide variety of structures including buildings, bridges, tanks, pipes, tunnels, and chimneys. For existing structures, KEC offers a full array of services including inspection, condition assessment, structural analysis, forensics investigations, and design of repair and strengthening solutions. KEC also specializes in designs using fiber reinforced polymers (FRP) for concrete repair and strengthening projects. KEC has considerable experience with construction engineering design including specialty shoring, jacking and underpinning, and slab edge coordination.
