6th degree Professor Hose Ponce is a highly skilled, talented, kind hearted and giving instructor. Kenpo unlike most arts and unlike most other instructors, Professor Ponce breaks it down. He goes over all the dynamics of what you are doing and why you are doing it, and the economy of motion. I've trained at quite a few other schools and unlike others there is more contact involved, more discipline required of the student, more studying. And unlike others you are required to test for all previous belt levels each time you go up a rank, making each rank a lot harder than the one before! Kenpo, instructed by Professor Hose Ponce is definitely the most well rounded art I have ever taken, striking, kicking, self defense, locks, grappling, weapons, it's all fun.Keep up the great work, Kenpo has definitely become my extended family.
