The Furniture House - CANNOT BE TRUSTED

On March 9, 2013, I ordered and paid for AICO dining table, china buffet and 8 chairs for $7920.00 (Tax and shipping included). The order was processed by Elizabeth who stated she was the acting manager because the store manager/ owner were in Egypt. Prior to purchasing the items I told Elizabeth that I was shopping around for the best deal. She stated that Furniture House can beat any deal and wanted my business. She stated that she will contact the owner/manager for approval for the sale. It took her two days prior to March 9th to callback and stated that she receives approval to sell the merchandise for $7400. I was extremely happy with the price and told her that I'll be in that day to finalize the deal with payment in full. On March 18th, I received a call from the owner Maged and he stated that he cannot honor the price that his sale rep quoted me because he not making any money of the deal. He stated that he willing to work with me but I would have to pay more than $7400. I told him that I have signed contract and he should honor the deal. He refused and stated that he will not placed the order and will process a refund because he not making any money from this deal. Two day later I received a letter stating that they are not authorized to sell certain AICO items that another dealer (Marlo Furniture) can sell.

I bought a sectional sofa a year and a half ago from The Furniture House. It was delivered broken, they sent out another one a week or two later, that too was broken. They sent a repairman out to fix it. When he opened the couch to fix it I was shocked at how cheaply it was put together. it was a Benchcraft sofa, that use to be a sturdy brand. This past week, my 12 year old son moved closer to me on the couch and the under-frame collapsed to the floor in two spots! He wasn't even sitting, he was moving closer to me to lay down. The opposite side makes a horrible noise when you sit on it so I am sure that side will collapse before long. Other issues I have are the cushions have lost their shape despite the fact that I flip them often and feathers are always coming out of the throw pillows. I have contacted the Furniture house and they refuse to do anything. I will not waste my time any more. It is what it is. It wasn't an expensive sofa but I was having a hard time finding one that fit the area I needed it in. It was about $1,200.00. Should have lasted longer.

Best Furniture store EVER with Best Prices!!!

If you want the finest furniture, at the lowest price this is the place to go. Bought a rocker recliner that soon broke, and these people went way out of there way to get me a new one from the manufactor, with helpful, caring, and down right good hope for my happiness. Just can't say enough

I bought two leather ashley sofas. waited almost 3 months. had tears and nails coming thru. the zipper would not keep shut on couch cushions and i repeatedly told him and his fix was to send a guy over and use a staple gun. I told him to get outta my house. BAD BAD Business and very shady and full of empty promises, if you want a deal go to ashley in woodbridge near potomac mills or havertys which is almost across the street in front of potomac mills. I hope the manager reads this. You are a liar a theif and a horrible buisiness owner. your furniture is junk just as your store and all who are employed there. I would NEVER EVER EVER buy anything from you or your other store by global market on 234(old blockbuster) . bunch of liars, wont return to manufactuer if a problem arises from the start. worse store ever...I ordered a dinning room a month before Christmas and I was promised that it would be home before Christmas. You would not believe the stories I got till now. First the shipping was delayed because of the snow, then the chairs were available but the table is not and they called the manufacture and they informed them that it would be after Christmas...then the first week of January and they were waiting on the truck delivery. I just called them now and they told me he will call the manufacture again tomorrow but they don't have the table in stock after he had told me they are waiting on the delivery truck few weeks ago.....I would not recommend this store to anyone. They are nice sweet talkers but no honest and they don't deliver what they promise. I couldn't have anyone over for Christmas neither new year and my birthday as well.
