A week ago, my cars muffler self-destructed, and my regular mechanic wasnt available to replace it. The only garage that would do it right away was Midas on Commercial St., Malden. I was leery of having them do it however, because Id had bad experiences with them in the past. But they were under new management since then, so I gave them another chance.I cannot speak highly enough of the service, actual repairs, and price I got. Rafael, the new manager, treated me as if I were his only customer, and showed me what really needed to be done and what could be preserved to save me money. After I OK-ed the work, I left and picked the car up after work.Im picky, and this is by far the best exhaust system repair/replacement Ive ever had. My car purrs like a kitten now. Im not the kind of person who writes reviews, -but I have to recommend this shop. The work is high quality and relatively cheap.
