Bee & Jay Plumbing and Heating Corporation was founded in 1964 as a small, home based, family run business. Over the past four decades, we have steadily grown into an industry leader while maintaining the dedication and values of a true "family business". Managing partners, Ted Kugler and Joe Scollan, maintain the original company vision by focusing on quality, service, value and integrity. Ted oversees the plumbing and mechanical division, while Joe manages the water systems, treatment projects and service. Together they coordinate a workforce of licensed professionals with a fleet of trucks on the road daily. This steady, managed growth and success is headquartered at the company owned building.

BEE AND JAY has served as our “water experts” since we moved to Mahopac nearly 30 years ago. Our most recent call for help was on a freezing Sunday morning, when water was flooding our basement bathroom and storage area. We all thought it was probably the septic but Joe from BEE AND JAY came right over, diagnosed the problem as a clogged trap, and fixed it. We highly recommend BEE AND JAY. Their work is consistently outstanding: prompt, professional, accommodating, and reasonable.

We have been using Bee and Jay for over 30 years. In addition to the many major upgrades throughout the years including our new well pump, our water softener and our acid neutralizer, Bee and Jay has taken care of all the little stuff as well, like our kitchen and bathroom faucet replacements to our variuos plumbing leaks. We are always satisfied and continually impressed with the work they do and always feel comfortable with their technicians in our home.

We have been using Bee & Jay plumbing for over 25 years. It doesn't matter if I am calling about a simple leaking faucet, or replacing fire hydrants. I get the same professional service and response.
We are constantly dealing with old, specialty, custom hardware that needs to be preserved. When we couldn't stop the (12) bathroom faucets from leaking due to worn out valve stems, Bee & Jay did some research and suggested we have new stems manufactured rather than replace all the of the original fixtures. The old hardware is still in place and works great. The faucets don't leak and the house maintained its historic integrity.
Or the time the ancient hot water system died with 20+ people staying in the house. We worked through the night and into the next morning. The first guest to wake up had a hot shower, and no one never knew there was a problem.
Here's a good one. A big tree limb falls on the roof of the stable. It breaks a piece off the cast iron vent stack. The piece falls INSIDE the vent pipe and drops all the way down to the garage and rests in the waste line (which we didn't know). Since no one was living there at the time, the piece rusted in place. Curved and pointy and pretty big. The people who moved in had a baby. So when the toilet started plugging up regularly I'm thinking DIAPERS. But they were sort of "crunchy" and were using cloth diapers. Bee & Jay decides there is something weird going on and starts checking the entire waste line back from the septic tank. When they removed the clean-out in the garage, there was the piece of cast-iron waste line rusted right on the bottom of the pipe. It was catching everything and blocking the main drain line. It had to be broken out with a chisel. Hasn't plugged since. You can't make this stuff up.
How about that quick response to the water main leak that soaked my back yard last year? And I love those comfort-height assist-flush toilets they put in. What about that cool salon chair and hair-wash sink? And then, when we didn't need the sink years later, they put the original bathroom fixtures back in. The fixtures they had put up in the attic. The bathroom with the "his and hers" shower heads, the yard hydrants, the horse waterers, the water filters, the 5 fire hydrants, the circulators, the boilers...and on and on.
I have 25 years of good Bee & Jay stories like that....

I have used Bee and Jay Plumbing for many years. From replacing various faucets, to toilet repairs to adding a water filtration system.
