A BIG Thank You to the whole Blue Ox team! My parents have lived in their home for over 30 years and finally made the call to move to a smaller home due to up keep on the house. Not having been through a move in sometime we asked my parents agent for a recommendation. She said Blue Ox had moved a number of her clients and that feedback was good. So we gave them a call and had Joe come out to give a quote. I have to say we were a little surprised at the price, but after receiving 3 other quotes we felt that Blue Ox would do the best job. We scheduled them for a pack move and unpack which we were told would take 4 days. On pack day Juan and his team arrived on time and walked my parents through the move plan and started right to work. I have to say that my mother was overwhelmed with the amount of packing that needed to be done, but Juan did a great job making sure he kept them informed of next steps along the way. Moving is never fun but a pack move and unpack into a smaller home is really no fun! Overall we were extremely happy with the attention to detail and hrd work that Juan and his team put in to make sure everything was a stress free a it could be. It has been 3 weeks since the move was completed and we can not find anything bad to say about Blue Ox. Thanks Guys we will be passing your info on to whoever needs to move!

We used Blue Ox for our move to temp housing then our final move after a renovation. We had the walk through for the move, listed everything. On moving day they were shorthanded and needed to make multiple trips. I even had a own UHaul truck there and moved stuff on my own. But everything got moved and there was no major issues other than taking a full day for a 1 mile move. That was a red flag. When the second leg of our move came in June, they sent 3 guys and one truck for a 4 bedroom house. In the rain. I called and they assured me they would get another truck and more guys. The extra truck came- no extra guys. The move was supposed to be one day. It took them two days and two trucks to load. By the time loading was finished, it was too late for them to drive to the new house. So we scheduled for the following day. They called and said they couldn't make it, they were too busy. So then they finally brought our stuff the third day. Two trucks showed up with 3 guys. One guy mostly just sat around while the other two worked really hard. I had to pick up the slack and help just to get the work done. Unfortunately they damaged quite a bit of stuff during the loading process. Washing machine, tool box, laundry cart, bicycles, metal shelving, the list goes on. After we paid, I completed the claim form for the damaged items. I submitted it during the time frame requested and waited. Nothing. I called several times over the past 4 months. I found out from the workers that they were closing the Dallas office and that I had to wait for the lawyers to sort it out. I called again, every few weeks. Until Friday, when I explained to the employee that I've been more than patient and wanted these issues resolved. She assured me the owner would call me (I heard that one at least three times). All I want is our property repaired/replaced, a fraction of the over $5000 we spent with them. I'm not even asking for reimbursement for the time delays and having to move my own things.

They caused damage to my apartment, admitted it, then refused reimbursement. I was left with $3000 in damages and it went on my credit! They are horrible people.

This company tried to charge me extra charges AFTER paying the final bill by saying the salesman didn't charge enough plus sliced my couch with a box cutter and they STILL have my couch after 8 weeks! I have repeatedly asked for it back but still don't have it. Save yourself some heartache in an already stressful time. Read all of the reviews and you will see a pattern of not caring about the customer or their property.

Used this company in January 2015 and although we could have found a cheaper mover, they were definitely worth the price! The 4 guys were super friendly and careful with our items. Most items were plastic wrapped and once we told them where we wanted things placed they worked very quickly. They did not damage any of our items which I guess could have happened but never saw them being careless. Would recommend them to anyone as they went above and beyond for us. Be sure and tip folks that work this hard!!

We used Blue Ox back in October of 2014. The 3-men that were assigned to us were amazing. They worked their buns off only stopping for a very late lunch that I insisted on paying for. I would use these guys for any of my moving needs...

Move went better than expected. Both the packing and moving crews were on time and worked hard. Have referred them several other families that had the same results.

BE WARNED!!!!!!!

We received a crew that complained of being tired for a large move with another client the day prior. After we got settled into our next home, we see that they had dropped our washer and didn't tell us. This drop resulted in the internal basket breaking the hinges, and resulting in a $400 charge to fix. Blue Ox first tried to deny responsibility, requiring us to have the Appliance Tech provide a quote showing that the damage could only have happened during the recent move. From there, it was a back and forth battle where Blue Ox offered no more than $72 to cover these costs. The company's motto is "It's not just your stuff, it's your life". Not only is this a lie, but they have made it clearly evident that they are more worried about revenue over customer satisfaction.

I would give no starts, if this system would allow it.

Moves will never go quite perfectly, but problems can usually be worked out between customer and merchant. Unfortunately, my experience was more problematic. Mover added charges above and beyond fixed price quotation after move commenced. Flat-out refused to take care of damaged household goods (even though I had purchased optional coverage from them).
