This salon cares about people. A friend of mine was treated horribly while looking for a wig at another salon. Whitney Hair and Salon heard about the story (it was quite appalling and all over social media), and out of nothing but kindness, they reached out to her and made up for it with a huge generous actthey donated a wig of my friend's choice. Who wouldn't want to do business with a place like that?

Cons: It was difficult to find the salon at the new location. The staff was having personal conversation on the floor. Staff was on their cell phones on the floor. The ground and counters were dirty with hair and dust. Pros: Staff knew hair well and had great sugestions. My hair turned out really well considering the poor customer care. Overall: I was lucky to come here on a special offer. I would not have paid full price for services.

My experience at Whitney Hair & Wellness was the worst salon experience I've ever had. I wanted to treat myself a week before my wedding to a hair trim, eyebrow wax, and manicure. My hair was layered completely unevenly; the shortest layer on the right side is two inches shorter than the left side. The eyebrow wax resulted in two uneven brows with many stray hairs completely missed; I had to pluck and re-shape at home. The shellac manicure was a complete disaster--my nails were filed unevenly and the polish was applied too heavily, resulting in a gloppy finish that smudged and smeared. While I was able to re-file my nails when I got home, I will be cursed with the polish for the next two weeks--the shellac finish is not removable with regular nail polish remover. Not only was my seventy dollars completely wasted, but I also need to have my hair re-cut and my nails re-done. I've never written a review in my life, but I was so disappointed in the services that I had to write this one.
