Located at the top of State Street, this longtime Madison institution serves piping hot cornish pasties. (Imagine Steak, hamburger, potatoes, etc. wrapped in a bread, much like a calzone.) Best to go there during the lunch hours, especially for the special pasties, like Barbecue Chicken. There's no seating, so it's dine & dash, but the food is sooooo good, you won't mind eating it outdoors around the Capitol Square.
