I recently called all around Madison trying to find a local source for rubber sheets for re-covering old ping-pong paddles, without success. One sporting-goods shop suggested that I call Bullseye, which as my Last Resort I did. Even though they do not sell such replacement rubber themselves, one of their managers (Kristin) took a real interest in my question and worked to find what I needed. She called me back promptly with website suggestions and information about what special names are used in the "ping pong biz" for what I need - all this even though it will not generate any sales for her store directly. This is excellent customer service and I will remember it when I am next in the market for things that Bullseye actually sells.
