This was not the place for us strictly because of the size. We waited nearly 30 minutes just for a consultation. There were so many people in the waiting room! I am in no way referencing their quality of care, strictly the busyness of a large practice.
When we first moved to the Nashville area almost 7 years ago, we wanted to find a place where we would be listened to as well as receive the best treatment necessary for our children. I love the fact that I can contact our PCP either by phone or e-mail when needed. When we have had to wait, I have been prepared because they were call-in appointments on the same day we were seen. I would expect that since there are other parents expecting quality care for their own child. If my child is sick, I want the staff to take the time needed for my child. Since we began going to GoodPeds over 7 years ago, we have added 4 biological siblings to our 3 through adoption. It has been a blessing to be able to have our PCP, nurses and staff helping us along on our journey. Yes, sometimes I have to explain our situation since we don't always get to see our PCP, but I would expect that. If we ever move farther out in the Nashville area, we would still come to Goodlettsville Pediatrics.
They are always kind. My son is 3 and loves it. We have all the children in our family here.
Goodlettsville Pediatrics has gone above and beyond with impressing me with their office staff and doctors. My childs PCP is Dr. Colgrove. He has been nothing but fantastic, and i am so thrilled to have him as our pediatrician. He is very thorough, and will not stop until he figures out what exactly is wrong, He has a wonderful personality, and always makes sure he covers everything with you. I did see Dr. Robinson once when Dr.Colgrove was not in the office, and i did not care for her. She was hateful, and very short with me, and seemed frustrated that my 2 month old was crying when she was doing an exam. She told me that all he had was a cold. I knew something wasnt right with my son, so took him back to see his PCP 2 days later, and he was then diagnosed with RSV. He was then put on breathing treatments. I feel that Dr. Robinson just wasnt interested in figuring out exactly what was wrong. But other than that, this place is wonderful!
Dr Sarah Patterson is WONDERFUL, we loved her, she was the only reason we were putting up with the rude staff and long waits......the ladies who make up the office staff are very rude and you could wait 45-hour to see the doctor.
We switched to a new doctor with a smaller office, and we love it, but if Dr Patterson was to ever leave Goodlettsville Pediatrics, we would go back to seeing her.
