Operational since 1985, Cardinal Woods is a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center with 120-bed facility located in Madison, Ohio. The center provides services to the elderly, disabled and other individuals needing assistance with activities of daily living. Its rehabilitative services include a range of therapies, such as physical, occupational, speech and respiratory therapies. The occupational therapy includes programs on developing personal hygiene, dressing skills, and preparing meals and other household tasks. Its speech therapy include various services, such as improving speech ability, teaching sign language and using photos and drawing boards to help verbalize thoughts and needs. Cardinal Woods additionally offers various other services that include X-rays, wound and ventilator care, and pharmacy services. The center also provides on-site ophthalmology, audiology, dental, psychological and podiatry services.
