Be CAREFUL when shopping at Persnickety, Main St., Madison, MS. Pretty can be deceiving :-( On a recent visit, a saleswoman told me the Thanksgiving napkins were on sale. There were 4 bins with napkins of fall colors there where she pointed and no signage. I chose a pretty napkin to give my Thanksgiving hostess as a gift and only later realized the full price was charged. I took the receipt back to inquire - I couldn't take the napkins back because I'd given them away by the time I noticed the charge - and was told only napkins with the turkey on them had been half price. I don't think anyone would have expected only the one style of napkin within all those napkins, all of the same colors, was the sale item. The implication was that the napkins where the lady pointed were on sale. I was mislead. If you shop there, be very careful and ask a lot of very specific questions. I won't be going back, not because of the bit of money, but because of misrepresentation by the sales staff.
