A True OPEN Altaire High Field Performance MR System has an award winning open-air design. It is completely OPEN on all four sides and accommodates most body types up to 500 pounds comfortably. It has an effective operating field of 1.3 Tesla offering better management of claustrophobia. True Open MRI appointments are available in Madison Heights only. Other types of MRI are available at: Weight Bearing MRI pgsExclusively at Premier MRI physicians can choose MRI testing using the Portal Gravity System which simulates an upright position by placing an axial load on the spine during routine MRI imaging. Available in Southfield. MRI Screening mri_screening MRI offers detailed screening of the body’s internal structure and function. It is often used for neurological (brain), musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, and oncological (cancer) imaging. Patients with back problems, soft-tissue concerns, and possible tumors or infection often see us for an MRI. Images are created using a powerful magnetic field, with no radiation. Our board-certified radiologists will diagnose your images and provide your physician with a detailed report. Your doctor will likely offer CT testing for patients with pacemakers and other electronic medical devices. Movies make MRIs more relaxing For a relaxed and unique MRI experience, Premier offers CinemaVision, specialized video goggles and headphones that allow you to watch a movie of your choice while your MRI is completed. The True Open MRI can accommodate patients up to 500 pounds. Results When the exam is complete, each patient receives a CD containing the images of the exam. Your doctor will receive a complete report typically by the next business day.
