I recently had an MRI at Open MRI of Michigan. I was greatly encouraged when the patient before me came out just raving about what a great experience he had. I am not particularly claustrophobic but I didnt know how I would feel inside an MRI machine. I was able to get an appointment within a couple of days which was wonderful as I was very, very concerned about an incidental finding on a CT scan and wanted to know as soon as possible what was wrong. The staff at the desk are awesome, they made special arrangements to fit me in when I went on the wrong day. The Radiation Technologists (Steve and Nancy) were so patient, explaining each and every step. They take great pains to make sure you are perfectly comfortable and told me every few minutes what was next and how long I had until I would be finished . I was able to look out the window by turning my head so I never felt trapped. I would highly recommend this facility for MRIs of all kinds!
