I went with them because they were the lowest bid out of three painters. At about $13K, they were $2K lower than the next one. I thought they did a good job at the time, but 3-4 years later the paint is starting to peel in many spots. Basically, they just didn't sand and prime well enough. Their carpenter did do a good job replacing a lot of dry rot. They also took off all the storm windows but didn't clean any before they put them back on. I could see fingerprints inside the panes. Art claimed that cleaning the windows wasn't part of the contract. I am now looking at having to pay more to touch up all these peeling spots before they get too bad. I also have been gradually pulling the storm windows off myself and cleaning them. If you care more about price, go with them. If you care more about quality, you might want to look elsewhere.
