Operational Since 1973, Heartland Opportunity Center Inc. is social service organization for disabled adults. Based in Madera, Calif., the senior living center offers programs, including work activity program, adult development program and independent living program. It provides with services that include Personal and Social Adjustment (PSA) for specific behavioral barriers and The Senior Services Program (SSP) for adults with mental and physical disabilities. Heartland Opportunity Center Inc. also offers individualized services, including developing work-related skills and behaviors in areas as grooming and hygiene, mobility, safety, job preparation and work maturity.
