California Rural Legal Assistance Inc. (CRLA) is a nonprofit legal services organization founded in 1966. The organization offers a wide range of litigation services and programs to the low-income communities across California. It provides legal assistance and an array of community education and outreach programs to more than 40,000 low-income rural Californians every year. The firm serves low-income individuals, including farm workers, new immigrants, single parents, school children, the elderly, people with disabilities, and entire communities. It offers a variety of programs and litigation services to represent clients in legal areas, such as civil rights, community development, education, health and human well-being, housing, and labor and employment.
