Heard Elementary School serves students in kindergarten through grade five. The school offers after-school tutoring in reading and math. In addition, it has a library and media center that offers an accelerated reader program. Heard Elementary School organizes math and spelling bee competitions for students in grades four and five. The school operates fine arts, computer applications, and health and physical education departments. Its staff includes a psychologist, speech pathologist, and physical and occupational therapists.
