As one of the first molders of fluoroelastomers, IER Fujikura has been a leader in the technical culture of synthetic elastomers since 1958. IER Fujikura offers product development, in-house tool design, flexible manufacturing and quality control services. The company has high and low volume custom manufacturing capabilities, which are available in all rubber, rubber-to-metal and rubber-to-plastic molding capabilities. It has manufacturing facilities located in Macedonia, Ohio, and Liverpool, Pa. It utilizes compression, transfer, injection and other proprietary molding technologies to meet the needs of customers. CAD systems, both AutoCAD 2000 and Pro/Engineer 2000, support the company s creative design engineering group.
