I only gave this one star because if not, then I couldn't write a review. This is the worse place you can think of. It is the place where I have had the worse experience in my whole life. Today, late afternoon, we called to asked if there was any vacancies. They said yes and that we needn't a reservation, that we can just walk in. I was in search for a room for my father to sleep the night, for he is visiting. Tonight when we arrived, the clerk said they only had a room available at a higher rate than we had previously been told over the phone, but we said that was fine. The clerk then proceeded to question whether my father spoke English. My father is visiting from Mexico, and while he can communicate basic phrases, enough to get around, he doesn't require to speak the language enough to held a conversation. I told this to the clerk, that all we needed was a room for him to rest for the night. He relentlessly insisted that my father needed to speak English. I was trying to figure out what possible reason could there be for this. He said that in case of an emergency or to talk to the clerk. I told him, in case of an emergency he can communicate what might be required and if more is required he can always call me. I told the clerk that I was going to check him in and out. All we needed was a place for him to sleep. He wouldn't sway from the English requirement. By this point I was extremely upset, especially his tone. He got to the point of saying he reserves the right to rent the room to anyone he pleases. I told him, what possible reason could he have to not rent the bedroom other than racism and prejudice. He held up a card and I told him, oh so that card entitles you to prejudice and racism. He obviously denied any such thing. All my dad wanted was a place to sleep the night. The way this man treated us and talked to us, was unnecessary to say the least. I'm flabbergasted something like this could ever happened. We weren't asking for charity. We weren't in any sort of undesirable state. All we went in search for was a room for my father to sleep. I am never going to this place again. If you don't want to be mistreated and insulted, I recommend you don't go here either. There are two more places close by, so if you are in the area go to the other motels instead. No one, no matter what, deserves to be treated so poorly and specially if we didn't do anything to instigate that sort of behavior. This guys only rents rooms to people he "likes". I think they should really consider better management. This is an awful place. At the end of the day, I'm glad my dad didn't stay here for he deserves much better.
