Oh how nice, a former employee writes a great review. I can agree that the salad bar and deserts are good, waitstaff generally good, but the hostess and managers, very bad, rude, if you have a problem they flip it and blame it on you. Too many hostesses walking around with nothing to do but irritate and annoy the customer. I had an old lady lean over my table and say "YUM YUM". That was after the waitress asked how everything was and before the 3rd hostess walked over and again asked how everything was. Enough already. The place was empty and they were all walking around in circles. We had a mistake on our bill and the tall hostess was very rude to us and tried to make the mistake our fault. I will never go there again after being treated with such contempt. Like they say, familiarity breeds contempt. Well, we must have been going there for too long because they took us for granted and now we will never return.

I would like to recommend people from all over the Usa,I anyone would like to visit New Jersey or New York area,the best way to pass through is gonna be The Lyndhurst Diner.I use to work and to eat at the same time,but I still miss the excellence of the salad bar ,stakes,sandwiches and the best desert in town.So for this I am certain.Wish all the best to the employees,management and the Boss .Respect from Michigan Andrea.

very cheap prices and their food is great, especially when your hungry for a late snack. The waiters their however, are rude and deliver the food late, i guess since their shifts are almost over they do not care about their guests. The inside is nice though and the prices are affordable so go if most places are closed at a late night.

Food is comparable to any fine resturant. Great. Diner prices & chef resturant quality. All food on the menu is available 24 x 7.
