I've been repaying a loan with CVFCU for a vehicle which was considered a total loss in 2008 by my then auto insurance, Allstate. Allstate sent CVFCU a check for the value of the vehicle, I got nothing. I then had to come up with money for a replacement vehicle. I was on active duty commuting 2 hours each way at that time. I informed the credit union of my circumstances, even speaking with the managers, but to no avail! I'd informed them that I no longer possessed the vehicle, the insurance had reimbursed them for the value of said vehicle & I requested that the remainder I owed on the loan be waived OR reduced. I was told by the management that they could neither waive OR reduce the loan. Its been 6 years since that terrible accident & I still recall CVFCU's disregard for my situation. Like the older gentleman wrote after having banked with CVFCU for many years, I was simply dissapointed. Upon receipt of the check from Allstate CVFCU should have waived the remainder of my debt.

I like the Timberlake branch. I had to operate with Mrs. Tweedy and she was straight forward and very helpful. I hope they continue the good job.

SHAME ON YOU CVFCU I have been a member of CVFCU for over 20 years and feel I have been loyal and in good standings for all of those years. Now comes the SAD part, about a year ago I lost my job. I am almost 62 yrs old and have had a difficult time finding something in my field and I feel my age is not working in my favor, So I spoke with a loan officer about a possible business loan because the job market was down. He quickley shot this down because I have no steady income (strike one) And now just recently CVFCU transferred money without my knowledge or consent from my account to pay on a loan I have had with them for years. This overdrafted my account and then they had the nerve to charge me a $30 OD Fee ( the loan was 15 days overdue). Again I feel I was a loyal customer to CVFCU and started banking with them because I liked the personal touch. Now I am SAD to say that the personal touch I looked for has turned into a SLAP in my face. SHAME ON YOU CVFCU.
