***STAY AWAY**I feel like a horrible pet owner for not reading the Yelp reviews first before I boarded my pet here. I boarded my Beagle here for 10 days while I went on my honeymoon. As someone else mentioned I was not given a report card either. They barely said anything about my pet's stay for those 10 long days. When I got home, I noticed that my Beagle's back legs were severely swollen and red. When I asked the facility about this, they then mentioned that he was having a hard time getting up and down, but later blamed it on my dog's age. My Beagle was dragging his back legs across the floor due to the pain. As he is known for having allergies, I started him on Benadryl. After a couple of weeks of this attempt to remedy the problem, I took him into the vet's office. Then I got the shock of my life. Our Beagle's legs, eye and both ears were infected. They even suggested xrays to see if the infection went into the bone. They immediately prescribed us ointments, and pills for $500. When I spoke to the pet resort about this, they stated that nothing was wrong with our pet during his visit and blamed his slow movements on his advanced age. This place will cost you more in the long run. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. I know I will be from now on.

This is an amazing kennel. We will only leave our 15 year old Belgian Malinois with Lisa and her staff. They take great care of her and help us enjoy our time in Tampa not worrying about our beloved doggy family member.

I have been brining my rescue dog with many issues because she had been abused to NTPR for over a year. We have utilized the business for both day care and boarding. All the handlers have been excellent with my dog; they have helped to socialize her with the other dogs and become comfortable going there. She has made tremendous progress from the time and care they have taken with her. I can also state that in that time the staff has not changed, a testimony to how much they all love the dogs and the owner Lisa. I wholeheartedly recommend this business to anyone looking to put their pet into loving, caring hands.......Annies mom

I absolutely love this place! The staff are so kind and so attentive to my dog. I have had no issues here. I have been bringing my dog here since they have opened! I reccomend this place and would not go anywhere else! You will not be disapointed!

A+ Pet Nanny is the Best!!! They are the sweetest people you will ever want to met. They have a big heart. They them selves have 5 dogs, and know how to love and take care of there babies. They will take care of your babies as they do theirs. You have found the right place. I give them a A++++++++++++++++++ Barbara

this place is amazing. i boarded my cat here a few times and the staff here are so friendly. it doesnt feel like a kennel, it feels like a home. i would reccomend this place over the lodge. i have been to the lodge and yes it is nice but they want to charge for every little thing. here you get better quality then the lodge. the staff feels like your own family. i love it here.

I am thrilled to write a review for New Tampa Pet Resort in Lutz. When we began visiting facilities looking for boarding for our boxer, I was met time and again by disappointment and concern. The various kennels never seemed to live up to their websites and brochures, and I felt my options disappearing quickly. One day I literally came home in tears. The minute I walked in to NTPR, I finally had the feeling I had been searching for with regard to boarding our canine family member. The staff is friendly, professional, and SERIOUS about their mission. Not just caring for pets - but making pets feel loved and tending to their personal needs. The facility itself is wonderful! Clean, bright, well-maintained and comfortable. We always reserve a king villa, but all the boarding options are great. We first trusted NTPR with our boxer's care for a weekend and have used them numerous times since - for boarding and for daycare. GO VISIT! Tell 'em BIFF sent ya!
