Lutherville Laboratory is a magnet school that specializes in science, mathematics and communications. The school offers educational programs to students in kindergarten through grade five and also provides special education classes for children between the ages of 3 and 5. Its curriculum includes English, social studies, language arts, art, and vocal and instrumental music. Lutherville Laboratory employs psychologists, reading specialists, guidance counselors, nurses, therapists and subject teachers. The school has a parent-teacher association that organizes various fundraising events for parents, teachers and students. Lutherville Laboratory is a part of Baltimore County Public Schools, which operates several elementary, middle, high and special schools.
