In response to the negative review, I'd like to clarify, Edge is not JUST about their recital! In fact, quite the opposite. They are a Technique based studio- not only do they employ certified dance teachers that teach correctly, they make classes fun for their dancers. As a bonus, their recital is extremely entertaining compared to the numerous recitals we've been to in the past and in my opinion, 2.5 to 3 hours is a perfect show length. Some schools have shows that drag on for 4 or 5 hours and they aren't nearly as entertaining as Edge Dance Center's shows! I love the fact that they are super aware of their backstage area and keep the children monitored. They do offer a closed circuit TV backstage so that the dancers can watch the show live. In the event of a technical difficulty, the volunteers and staff are ready with snacks and activities for the backstage dancers. This is a very organized dance studio and it's obvious that the owners know what they are doing!

We just finished our first year at Edge Dance Center - what a wonderful experience! It is a top notch studio. From the choreography to the talent, it doesn t get much better than this! If you want a studio that will actually teach your children proper technique, while having fun - then this is the place! Our daughter took a combo ballet/ tap class and while there was disciplined teaching there were also fun activities/ exercises that were age appropriate. Thank you Edge for a great experience!
