      General Info
      Smith International Truck Center is a family business with over 75 years and three generations of experience and expertise in selling and repairing commercial trucks. We opened our doors in Fayetteville, North Carolina in 1966. Back then, James H. Smith and James D. Smith were just two truck technicians, brothers who were working late hours in a two-bay building after attending mechanical school. They started with a foundation of hard work and dedication, and in the decades that have followed, our foundation has not changed. In 1988, James Smith, Jr. opened the body shop up for business and in 2004 he stepped in as leader of the company. Today we employ a staff of highly trained technicians that are just as determined to do quality work as we have always been. One of those professionals is Justin Smith, son of James, Jr. who leads our Military Sales department. From the machine shop, alignment shop, and paint and body shop, to the trucks we sell as part of the nation's largest dealer network, Smith International Truck Center works hard to maintain our reputation as North Carolina's best trucking center.
