- Dental ExaminationOur goal as your dental health provider is to minimize your cost and make sure that your visit is a comfortable one. We want you to be an active partner in your dental care, so we’ll teach you what you need to know to prevent problems and enjoy a lifetime of good dental health. During your first visit, we’ll perform a dental examination and take radiographs so we can diagnose and treat any existing problems. We also take a panoramic radiograph, which allows us to evaluate tissues and foundations not easily seen during a visual examination. We check your teeth, bones, soft tissue, and bite occlusion. We’ll then schedule a consultation to discuss your treatment options, answer any questions you may have, and give home care instructions. School age children are encouraged to attend the consultation so they can begin to understand the importance of good dental health. If finances are a concern, we can schedule a consultation with our financial coordinator who would be happy to discuss your financial options with you.
