Attwood marine accessories are sold through boat and motor dealers, bait and tackle dealers, marine retail stores, sporting goods catalogs and mass merchants. The Brunswick Corporation acquired Attwood Corporation in September 2003. Based in Knoxville, Tenn., the Brunswick Boat Group, a unit of Brunswick Corporation, is a maker of pleasure boats with 2005 net sales of $2.8 billion. The Boat Group makes Albemarle, Baja, Bayliner, Boston Whaler, Cabo Yachts, Crestliner, Lund, Maxum, Meridian, Princecraft, Sea Boss, Sea Pro, Sea Ray, Sealine and Trophy boats; Benrock, Diversified Marine, Kellogg Marine and Land 'N' Sea parts and accessories distributors; and IDS dealer system management.
