These guys know their stuff and the manager Paul is a no nonsense guy who tells it like it is. This is probably the last of the honest repair shops. Prices are right in line with what they should be. They don't fluff it up. I made an appointment and they stuck to the time they told me. Really appreciate the service, but most of all the honesty.

Stopped by for a state inspection they took me right in and were done quickly. They have a nice waiting room, Wi-Fi, coffee, snacks and television. I checked out their used car lot, no pressure from the sales guy. He just answered my questions, so that's where I'll get my next car when my taxes come in. The place makes you feel real comfortable, I liked it.

I'm a single mom with 3 young kids. In the past when I had car problems it was always scary because they saw me coming and marked prices up and cost me money I didn't have. Recently my car was making screeching noises and my friend told me about a place they found called Lowell Automatic Transmission in Lowell. I was petrified to go because I don't have any extra money, but when I pulled in a nice worker showed me where to park and brought me in to the service area. When I explained the noises, they took my car in, without having an appointment. They had a cute waiting room with coffee, water, snacks, tv, wifi, like a dealer has. In just a little while Paul the service manager came to get me. He explained the car had decayed belts that needed replacement. When I asked how much it would cost, he told me No Charge! I was waiting for the 'catch', but there was no catch! This place is different! Not only did they change the belts, Paul told me they checked the fluids and topped them off at no charge too! They treated me like family, just like my friend said they would. Paul is awesome! I'm telling all my friends to go to this place. They didn't take advantage of me. In the future when my car acts up, I'm going there because I know they're fair and treat people with respect.

About 1 year ago, I bought a car from Lowell Automatic Transmission/Chelmsford St. Auto Sales. It had low mileage and has been a very good car. I recently had a tire rod/rack issue that was fixed by them. The issue is resolved and now the car runs perfectly. Dennis and his team were very nice and fair from the point of buying the car all the way up to the last interaction.

This is a worst place to send your vehicule for a transmission rebuild.

I had my transmission rebuild on 12/30/2006 , after 17 mouths the transmission broke down

again .please don't even think about to get your transmission fix

When i went for an inspection sticker one of ur mechanics stated i needed balljoints. I WENT TO 3 MECHANICS WHO STATED I DO NOT NEED THEM. rICH CONNOLLEY KNEW TIS INSPECTOR. iT WOULD BE NICE TO TALK TO UR MANAGER ABOUT MECHANICS SCAMMING CLIENTS. tHIS IS NOT RIGHT IT COST ME MONEY TO GET 3 OPINIONS.
