I spent last spring and summer at Fireside RV Park. This is a family owned and operated park and everyone was always very friendly, helpful and gracious. I will be returning this spring and summer and am very much looking forward to returning. It is well maintained, has Wi-Fi, cable and very clean facilities. I highly recommend Fireside!!

My wife and some friends stayed at this somewhat modernized RV and Cabin Resort for a few days this last summer. The RV lot is nearly unmanageable because of cramped and angled parking. It takes a lot of effort to work your RV into some of the spaces. The RV area is reasonably clean and quiet. But the cabin our friends stayed in was the size of a shoe box. The pictures on the Colorado Cabin Directory are very deceiving when it comes to the actual size of these cabin/apartments. Our friends had three in their party and found it was nearly impossible to stay in such tiny quarters. Even a party of two would be hard pressed to find these so called cabins comfortable. They had a huge problem with mosquitoes pouring out of the bathroom and into the bedroom. And their kitchen would be compared to a very small galley on-board a sailboat. Also, this is not a tranquil destination. The sight and sounds of traffic is an all day affair less than 300 feet from the cabin's front doorstep.
