The restaurant named Kate's place should have never closed in my opinion the food was good atmosphere was good the people were nice I don't understand why they close I'll probably never understand I think it was because of their hours that they closed they were open a lot

Kate's Place is the best kept secret in Stark County. Great food, good value and friendly attentive staff. Can't wait til my next visit!

The food is decent but overpriced. My wife ordered a steak and received two small chunks of beef with potatoes around it. My pork Chop was really good. What really upset me was that we ordered a $20 bottle of Shiraz. When I happened to look at the receipt the next day there was a $32 bottle of Shiraz on ticket. I went back the next business day and the waitress apologized but never offered to correct it. My fault for not checking my order but you shouldn't have to. I will never go back.. I hope the $12 was worth it to them.

First visit to Kate' Place two weeks ago with a group of 8. Food was fantastic, very fresh! Innovative menu, friendly staff. Extensive variety of wines by the glass and by the bottle. Plan on visiting again very soon!
