My wife, son, daughter and I went into Tassels a few months back as we had recently purchased a new home and were in the process of redoing some of the rooms. For a few weeks my wife had been going there to check-out bolts of fabric in order to choose what would work best in our house. On this particular weekend day, we all went with her on the way somewhere else.
While she was in the back talking to a designer, my son and I sat down on a couch in the front of the store. Within minutes of sitting, a rude sales associate came to us and asked us to get up, so as not to get the couch "dirty." I was really upset! Here we were, well mannered, well dressed and BUYING, and to be treated that way was very rude. I guess at Tassels, the customer is not "always right," but "always dirty!"
My wife insisted on buying the fabric she had been working with, but such an attitude, especially in the present economy, was enough to lose our future business.
