I grew up going to all area skating rinks. And skateworld was one of the best. NOT now took my Kidd today HORRIBLE. Will never go back. What happened to old school skate music or some popular music 100% rap now not even popular rap songs. Sound system is bad hard to hear which turned out to b a good thing. Bad service one person working concession restrooms bad. POSITIVES good floor ( except when u roll through someone's gum several times). Nice seating areas. I was really looking forward to making it a regular place to take my boys NEVER again

I grew up in this rink from 84-91 and I thought it was the best rink in Louisville, well im here to tell you different. I took my child there tonite and it was so horrible that we will never be back. The floor was so dirty and just covered in trash (paper and cups and plastic, toilet paper every where) people just setting all over the floor. No offense to the guards but they didnt do a thing to keep people in line, no one followed any of the rules and I was very disapointed. I use to love this rink but I will never go there or even tell anyone about this rink ever again. We should have just went to our local rink instead. I hate to write things like this but I had no choice, I really hope they do something about it but even if they did or do and offer me and my child free lifetime entry, we wont be back. Sorry for the bad review, Jan. 7, 2011 7pm-11pm session. NOT SATISFIED IN LOU.

skate world is the best i go there every weekend very clean and family fun. You can always count on skate world for your child's birthday to be great fun. great staff to very friendly. You can tell it's family owned and operated.

This place is disgusting. The skates are in terrible condition. They gave my 8 year old daughter a pair of rental skates (one of which had no shoe lace) and when she took them up to exchange them she said the guy was mean to her and slammed the skates on the counter. Then my 4 year old son said he heard one of the employees who skate around cussing. They should not be cussing around children. I will never go back there.

I absolutely love Skate World! As a single mother with 2 young children, I couldn't ask for a more safe and clean family facility. We recently had a birthday party for my youngest with 10 of this friends. The staff was professional and fun. We skate there about 3 times a month and every time we have had a positive experience!

Horrible service!!! Very unorganized. Served my children coke without even considering my needs and what I wanted them to be drinking. Nasty and rude to me after giving them $85. They were very rude one of the worker slammed a door in my face. Management and business ran very unprofessionally. Very old skates and old facility. Horrible Service!!! You can count on me and my guest to never come back.
