Louisville Fire Engine Company 5 is part of the Louisville Fire Department, which works to provide prevention and environmental protection services. The department works to respond to variety of calls for assistance and medical emergencies. It works with a team of more than 500 staff members. The Louisville Fire Department responds to over 50,000 incidents annually. The department has specialized teams for haz-mat, water rescue, high angle, trench, confined space and collapse. It is governed by the City of Louisville in Kentucky.
