General Info
We are here for all ranges of dancers including beginners up to professionals. When we opened 14 years ago there was no other store like us in the city. We have leotards, shoes, dance recital outfits, and accessories.

I have purchased from Kinney Dancewear for more than 13 years. My daughter has danced for 13 years and has been in musical theatre for two years. We have spent countless hours and several hundred dollars with Kinney. My daughter was in the store without myself to try on character shoes. When the manager asked if she would be purchasing the shoes my daughter responded I am going to purchase them online. My daughter thought that Kinny Dancewear had an online site. Rather than inquiring further about this she was told that if she did not purchase the shoes she would not be allowed to try on shoes. She left the store crying. I do realize the communication error but also the poor customer service. I will no longer be shopping with Kinney Dancewear being that my 15 year old left the store upset and once the manager was called she was unapologetic to say the least.

On August 3rd my daughter and I made our first visit to Kinney Dancewear for ballet apparel, and we WILL be going back! We live in Elizabethtown, but the selection and helpful staff make it well worth the drive. Thanks so much for such a pleasant experience!
I brought my 3 year old daughter her to buy her first pair or ballet shoes and the sales person was so helpful and polite. My daughter has bad eczema on her feet and when the sales person took her shoes off to try on her slippers I was afraid she would be bothered by this, but she was very understanding and professional. The prices were very reasonable, the selection good, and the staff friggin' awesome. Highly recommended!!
