Gateway Press provides commercial printing resources to its clients. Commercial work is a general category of printing that covers materials such as magazines, catalogs, folders, brochures, posters, maps, cards, tax forms and soft cover books. The company is a one-stop shop that is able to cover the various areas of printing services a company might need. Gateway uses traditional and electronic prepress equipment including two electronic platesetters. The pressroom is a combination sheetfed and web operation featuring heat set web presses. C.W. Georgehead Sr. founded the company in 1950. While working as a printing salesman in Louisville, Ky., he saw the need for additional printing capacity in the region.
