Tristan D. Blackburn, M.D., earned her bachelor's degree from Indiana University, Bloomington and her medical degree from the University of Louisville. Dr. Blackburn completed her residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in rheumatology at Fletcher Allen Health Care/University of Vermont in Burlington, Vt. She has done research in osteoporosis and metabolic bone disease and has a special interest in vasculitis, rheumatoid arthritis and systemic lupus erythematosus. Dr Blackburn is board certified in internal medicine and rheumatology. She practices a multidisciplinary approach to complex rheumatic diseases with an emphasis on improving quality of life for her patients. Outside of work, Dr. Blackburn enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, taking walks and reading.
