Dr. Lori Warren specializes in gynecology, advanced laparoscopic surgery, complex benign pelvic conditions, lower urinary tract disorders, urinary incontinence, prolapse and weakness in the pelvic floor. She also performs cosmetic gynecologic surgery including labiaplasty, clitoral hood reduction and vaginoplasty. She has earned double board certification, in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1993 and in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (FPMRS) in 2016. She has been named one of Louisville’s “Top Surgeons” for laparoscopic hysterectomy and “Top Docs” for OB/GYN by Louisville Magazine in 2010 and 2015, respectively. In addition to her private practice, Dr. Warren is an Assistant Clinical Professor with the University of Louisville, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, as well as a surgical preceptor for the endoscopy fellowship program. She is Co-Director of the Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery fellowship (MIGS). Her passion for promoting minimally invasive surgery has placed her at the national forefront of the issue. In addition to publishing numerous articles and teaching on the subject, Dr. Warren was featured on the CBS Evening News with Katie Couric and Dr. Jon Lapook, on the Dr. Oz Show, and with Dr. Rebecca Booth in a cover story for M.D. Update magazine. She has worked as a medical advisor for hystersisters.com to encourage women to seek a second opinion on hysterectomy surgery. She founded Pass the Pearls, Inc., a non-profit organization whose mission is to educate women about minimally invasive surgery and help them gain access to quality surgical care. Dr. Warren received both her bachelor’s degree and medical degree at the University of Kentucky, and completed her residency training at Tufts University in Boston. She joined Women First in 1991.
